Excited to be starting a new series on the blog here. I’m borrowing the idea from the Tracey at Shutterbean (and sincerely hope she doesn’t mind!) I love the idea of looking over the week in photos, although mine will likely not be anywhere near the caliber of hers!
I’m hoping though, that it’ll be a way to make me to brain dump and examine a week in the life. Which is a nice way, I think, to make each week count and remember the little fleeting moments. They have a way of passing swiftly as the days and weeks tumble on.
So here we go…Week 1 of 2016!
My New Year’s Eve Date, all snuggly and sweet right by my feet.
Putting away the Christmas things. My mom knit stockings for Tyler and Julian this year, to match the one I have from my childhood. So great!
Building with new blocks.
And climbing on blocks.
The first big snowfall of the winter season.
We discovered that the slides get good and slippery after a snowfall.
Making snow angels after dark with Grandpa.
First book read in 2016. A horrific story, unfettered and well-drawn writing, very hard to put down. Recommend this one.
Nachos for lunch made with this leftover crockpot chicken. Topped with chipotle salsa, lots of cheese and cilantro. Also recommended!
Found this surprise in a holiday package from my pal Desi. Yum!
A bit of healthy eating, too.
That’s it for this week! On to the next.
